Introduction to The Prayer Room 

   The primary goal of The Prayer Room is to see God’s fullness established 1^st in our city and then the cities of the earth.  We long for the Kingdom of God -His rule, and the will of God -His plans, to actually be established on the earth.

"Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven (Mt. 6:9-10).’”  

   We believe that the ministries of this city can only reach their full impact when the Body of Christ stands unified in prayer.  We hold that the ministries of the Kingdom will be far more effective and powerful in the midst of a city with night and day prayer. By the Bride crying out continually (Lk. 18:7-8), we break up the unplowed ground and make way (Hos. 10:12) for the work of the apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists (Eph. 4:11), as well as those doing the mercy deeds so critical to Christ’s heart. Through the ministry of intercession, we believe that a much greater impact is made on the people and places these various ministries, churches, and individuals reach out to.  It is our desire to see the Church of DFW anointed in every area of ministry because of the unified petition of the believers of this city (Jn. 17:23).      The Prayer Room is trying to establish a place of 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, non-stop worship and prayer where any believer in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area can come join with us.  We desire The Prayer Room to be a unified, city-wide voice that cries out day and night before the throne of God for the coming of His Kingdom and the fulfillment of His will in DFW.  

The Prayer Room is NOT a church, and we are not looking for members to leave their churches to join us. Instead, we want people already involved in their own local church to REMAIN involved there and actively participate in its vision by service and giving. It is our desire that people across the city would join us in prayer while staying actively involved with their church fellowship.

The Prayer Room is a para-church organization working to establish a place of 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, non-stop worship and prayer where any Christian fellowship in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area can come join with us. We desire The Prayer Room to be a unified, city-wide voice that cries out day and night before the throne of God for the coming of His Kingdom and the fulfillment of His will in DFW.
